The Nanyang MBA programme lived up to its reputation of being rigorous and setting high standards. In particular, I liked the curriculum structure, which allowed me to change my specialization to meet my specific interests.

Prior to obtaining the Nanyang MBA, I was in the legal profession. In order to further my career in the business world, I felt a need to broaden my horizons with a good business education. The industry-oriented approach adopted by the School was an attraction for me.

Much of what was learnt in class, for example strategic management concepts, financial models and analytical tools, are directly applicable to my work as an Asia-Pacific Director of Contracts for an automation and control company.

The Business Study Mission to Thailand provided useful exposure and networking opportunities to understand this important ASEAN economy.

I find the Nanyang Business School supportive of its participants and alumni. They are open to suggestions from participants and I would even call it a "student-friendly" school. Faculty are always available for consultation.

Writing this article brings back fond memories of the time spent with fellow participants and the challenging times during the programme. I consider it a worthy investment and make it a point to attend the regular golf sessions organised by our active alumni committee.
