Dignitaries visit the NTU Alumni Club at one-north

Members of the NTU Alumni Club welcome Mr George Yeo, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Mr Chandra Das, NTU Pro-Chancellor.

At the lunch on 12 February, Mr R Sinnakaruppan, President of the NTU Alumni Club, spoke on how Minister George Yeo's involvement played an important role in the development and establishment of the Clubhouse at one-north.  He also welcomed NTU Pro-Chancellor Mr Chandra Das, who had also supported the Club on several occasions, especially during the fundraising golf tournaments.

Mr Sinnakaruppan then invited Mr Das to become the patron for the Club's fundraising golf tournament, which was graciously accepted by Mr Das.

Minister Yeo also spoke on and recalled with great fondness, the many occasions he had been part of the NTU Alumni Club's progress.

The day ended with Mr Sinnakaruppan presenting Honorary Memberships to both Minister Yeo and Mr Das.
