Feeling upbeat after the Labour Day public holiday, about 380 executive course participants get down to a day of sports and networking, furthering both their personal and career circles.

Participants of eight Executive courses from China and Vietnam, making up some 380 people, took part in the "International Students Networking Session" held at the Sports and Recreation Centre.

After a short welcome speech by Mr Soon Min Yam, Director, Alumni Affairs Office, the session kicked off with an exciting 8 by 50 metres relay run, as contestants ran a relay for the first time in many years. Following that, in the tug-of-war, contestants used all their energy, strategy and team spirit to stay on their feet!

The participants then went on to continue playing in other sports such as 5-a-side basketball and 4-a-side soccer. From the loud cheers and happy faces, it was evident that everyone was having a good time playing, learning and bonding.
