The School of Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE) welcomes its graduates from the Class of 2008, including the university's first maritime studies alumni.
Organised by the Civil and Environmental Engineering Club (CEE Club), the annual CEE Graduation Dinner and Dance celebrates the graduation of all CEE students from its three disciplines, namely, civil engineering, environmental engineering, and maritime studies.
Getting together on 11 May, the dinner was held at the Belvedere Ballroom, Meritus Mandarin Hotel and attended by the graduating cohort as well as members of the CEE community.
Guest-of-honour, Ms Lee Bee Wah, former president of NTU School of Civil & Environmental Engineering Alumni Association, warmly congratulated the students on their graduation and wished them a bright future ahead. The dinner also marked a special moment for CEE as the event also saw the graduation of the first batch of maritime studies students.
"It is indeed a meaningful event as it marks a milestone in the life of these graduating students. Thus, CEE Club always makes it a point to organise a successful event every year," said Mr Raymond Teo Zhia Wee, President of the CEE Club's 17th Management Committee.
"The Club has achieved its objectives for the event and I hereby call out to the next graduating batch to take up an even more active role in the next CEE Graduation Dinner and Dance," he added.
