Call Me DP
Rajendran Dhandapani
Hi Everybody,

My name is Rajendran Dhandapani (DP) and I joined CITS in June 2009.

I did my undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the Madurai Kamaraj University in Tamil Nadu, India. I started my career as a programmer in SS System in January 2002. After two and half years, I joined another company named Business Computing Network Solutions, where I worked for more than four years as a developer. It was during the years with this company that I developed my technical and project management skills to a greater extent.

In January 2009, I joined NTU as a Contract Programmer. After six months, I was offered a permanent position in CITS as a Senior IT Specialist. My colleagues here are very co-operative and friendly. I feel very privileged to work in NTU.

To me, the main objectives essential for software development are: Project Management, Code Reusability and User Interface (UI).  I concentrate on these objectives in my project development, because they will help reduce project cost and development time.

I spend my free time with my wife Suchitra and daughter Harini. I like Singapore's multi-culture, multi-language, tolerance and restraint, and 'live and let live' policy.
