Adrian Lu
With the recent release of Microsoft Windows 7 and Macintosh Snow Leopard OSX10.6 operating systems (OS)*, faculty members and students who are planning to purchase a new computer will likely have the latest OS installed.  Whether you are buying a new computer or upgrading your existing OS to the latest version, you will be pleased to know that NTU online video lecture recordings can also be viewed on both Windows 7 and Snow Leopard OSX10.6.

Here are some simple steps you have to follow in order to view online recorded lectures.

For Windows Users

You will need to enable the ActiveX Control as shown in the screenshot below. You will be prompted to do so after you click on a lecture recording link.

Step 1: You will see a security warning bar as shown below. Click on the bar to allow the 'add-on' to run.

Step 2: A security warning window will appear. Click 'Run' to enable the ActiveX control.

For Mac Users

You will need to install the latest version of Flip4Mac plug-in for the Safari browser to view the recorded lectures.

Please note that Flip4Mac is only applicable to Safari web browser and not Mozilla Firefox.
