The user interface has been redesigned and improved with many new features and enhanced functionalities - a very close resemblance to Outlook 2007, the e-mail client that comes with Microsoft Office 2007.

As shown on the left, the new Webmail supports multi-language interface. To customise the language of your choice:
- Click
Options on the Webmail top menu, and then choose
Regional Settings on the left.
- Next select the language you want Webmail to use (as shown below), and then click on
Save.
2. Auto-complete of Recipient's Name

Similar to Outlook client, when you type the first letter of the recipient under the
To,
Cc or
Bcc fields, the Auto-complete feature will suggest possible matches based on names you have used previously.
3. Quick Preview of User's Properties

You may do a quick check to confirm your recipient's identity before sending an e-mail.
Simply
right-click on your recipient's name in the
To,
Cc or
Bcc fields. It will show his/her office location and phone number for you to verify.
4. Full-Features of Address Book
(a) Display the Full Address BookYou may display the full Address Book by clicking on the icon on the Webmail top menu, as shown on the left. It will display the
Global Address List,
Contacts, and
Meeting Rooms (Resources) in a separate Window.
(b) Quick Search and More Personal Details
You may also do a quick search of a person by entering his/her full or partial name in the text field as shown above, and then press the Enter key.
You can then see the personal details such as Office Location, Phone, Job Title as well as his/her availability from his/her Outlook Calendar.
(c) Accessing the Address Book When Composing Mail
When composing a mail, you may click on the To, Cc or Bcc buttons to display the Global Address List, Contacts, and Meeting Rooms (Resources) in a separate Window.
From the Address Book window, you may then search/browse and select the recipients/resources for the To, Cc or Bcc fields. When you are done, click 'OK' to get back to the message window.
5. Enhanced Features for Composing Message
Note: The following features are also available for scheduling a meeting invitation in Calendar mode.
(a) In HTML or Plain Text Format
As shown on the right, you may choose to compose your message in HTML (using formatting like bold, italic, bullets, font colours, etc. for your text), or simply in no frills Plain Text.
(b) Message formatting options
If you compose your message in HTML, you can click on the drop down arrow on the font toolbar to view more formatting options, as shown on the right.
(c) Spelling Check Feature
After composing your mail, you can click on the spell check icon

to check for spelling errors.
Misspelled words will be highlighted. Right-click on the highlighted misspelled word will display a list of suggested words for replacement, as shown on the right.
